Atin Garg
Managing Director
Atin leads CIBC’s Venture Banking efforts in New York, where he partners with investors and founders to help innovative companies with their financing, risk management, and treasury needs. Prior to joining CIBC, Atin co-led the Growth Segment within Wells Fargo’s Technology Banking Group. He also served as a Relationship Manager focused on software, fintech, and consumer internet companies. Earlier in his career, he managed finance and operations at two venture backed technology startups in New York. This operational experience gave him firsthand experience with the daily challenges and opportunities that high growth companies encounter.
Atin is passionate about New York’s technology ecosystem and loves supporting venture backed companies as they scale. He believes the most successful banking partnerships are built on deep industry knowledge and genuine alignment with founder ambitions.
Atin hold a bachelor’s degree from Duke University and a master’s degree from Columbia University. He lives in New Jersey with his wife and two children.
